About the Workshop
LILO women workshop is a 3-day workshop experience for any woman whose context is challenging to navigate due to gender norms and cultural beliefs that inhibit women and are often harmful. Looking In, Looking Out (LILO) workshops are designed around the concept that social change must start with people. Power for change comes from within. Systems shift when people change. organized by WELEAD in collaboration with
Hivos and Education as a Vaccine.
Workshop Aim
To achieve social change in women through the formation and development of human capacities.
Workshop Objectives
- To boost self-discovery and build long term self-esteem in women (positive self-concept).
- To help women withstand adversity and gain resilience in life.
- To enable women reactivate hopes for great future.
