Sexism Sensitization Workshop with Community of Stakeholders including Media

GWIHR held a day sexism sensitization with the Community of stakeholders and the media, and our community members in their diversity was able share their lived experiences with the media . This included the negative labeling and stereotyping impact, and the media’s abhorrent treatment and reporting of fake stories about s of sex workers. The stakeholders present during this engagement were the Ministry of Women Affairs, the National Human Right Commission, the Ministry of Health, and the media houses. And also this engagement is to increase the knowledge of stakeholders, including the media, on misrepresentations of sex workers, leading to effective communication of key messages by the media.
