Strenghtening the Grassroot Response of GBV Against Female and Transgender Sex Workers

GWIHR has passionately escalated its advocacy at the grassroots level during the 16 Days of Activism. In a dedicated pursuit for a society where sex workers live without violence, GWIHR actively involved local security officers in Emohua LGA of Rivers State, bolstering awareness and fostering dialogues on sex worker’s rights. Through strategic partnerships and focused campaigns, the goal is to fortify the community’s response to gender-based violence. This approach ensures a substantial impact, promoting inclusivity, and igniting transformative change at the community level. Funded by UN WOMEN
