Sex workers around the world, and particularly in Nigeria, have faced numerous barriers such as discrimination and violence. GWIHR commemorated International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers on December 17, 2022, by raising awareness of the Human Rights that every sex worker has, and thus the need to respect them.
