Empowering EMOVIC Officers: Catalysts for Transformative Change in GBV Response for Female and Transgender Sex Workers

Empowering EMOVIC Officers: Catalysts for Transformative Change in GBV Response for Female and Transgender Sex Workers
On January 12, 2024, we had a sensitization workshop, which marked a significant success in our grassroots advocacy efforts against gender-based violence targeting female and transgender sex workers. Through engaging discussions and collaborative efforts, EMOVIC officers were empowered to drive a human right-centered GBV response mechanism.

Central to the workshop was elevating the voices of female and transgender sex workers, shedding light on our realities and underscoring the urgent need for action. Armed with knowledge and determination, EMOVIC Officers are now poised to drive forward initiatives for justice and accountability, ensuring that the voices of sex workers are heard and respected.

Together, we stand in solidarity to create a world free from violence and discrimination. #strengtheninggbvresponseforfemaleandtransgendersexworkers.
