Greater Women Initiative for Health And Rights (GWIHR) is a leading sex worker-led community-based organization born out of passion and a strong desire to assist in the development of sex workers through building up their capacity towards meaningful contribution to communal empowerment, awareness to prevent these groups from contracting HIV/AIDs and other life threaten diseases, contribute in reducing of the rate of stigma and discrimination of sex workers living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and further fight against all forms of violation towards sex workers in Nigeria.

Program Officer
Job Description
- Coordinating and provision of technical assistance for HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support programs for sex workers including voluntary counselling, psycho-social care, home-based care, referral system, community mobilisation and leadership development.
- Organises and ensures the success stories of outreaches/seminars towards the key/target population on the prevailing issues, causes and prevention strategies of HIV/AIDS
- Provide direct oversight/supervision to counsellor testers and paralegals to ensure their adherence to implementation guidelines in their various assigned LGAs of operation.
- Organizes and engage the community of stakeholders in sensitization and advocacy programs.
- Ensure regular updates of the organizations’ database with activities.
- Ready to carry out other job functions as may be directed by the executive director.
Qualifications
i. Basic Requirements
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management. A post graduate qualification or completed certificate courses in Public health and Social Sciences will be an added advantage.
- She/he must be a sex worker or 100% community friendly.
- She/he must have completed the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps
- She/he must have an advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft packages (word, excel and PowerPoints)
- She/he must have good knowledge of statistical data analysis and presentation
- Finally, She/he must possess at least four (4) years’ experience implementing programs for sex workers in any registered Health and Right focused non-profit organization in Nigeria.
ii. Other Requirements

FINANCE OFFICER
Job Description
She/he reports directly to the executive director and is responsible for:
- The Finance Officer will be responsible for supervising bank transactions, preparation of payment Vouchers and writing of cheques, posting of payment Vouchers and preparation of financial reports.
- She/he will be responsible for budget tracking, reviewing posted transactions in the Tally, bank reconciliation and ensuring timely remittances of statutory deductions.
- She/he will keep proper financial records for donor and external audit’s view.
- She/he will participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial reports for donor agencies.
- She/he will undertake payroll preparation, tax and pension deductions and remit same appropriately
- She/he will ensure efficient use of project resources and compliance with organization and donor’s regulations and guidelines.
- She/he will also be responsible for performing the administrative roles of the organization.
Carry out any other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Applicants must have First Degree in Accounting or other related Social Sciences.
- At least 4 years of working experience in managing grants for registered non-profit organizations in Nigeria is required.

MONITORING, EVALUATION AND LEARNING (MEL) OFFICER
Job Description
She/he reports directly to the executive director and is responsible for:
- The MEL Officer will to collect, sort, analyse and report data emerging from ongoing project or research study.
- The MEL Officer will support program impacts sharing internally and externally, as required. In addition, emphasis will be placed on identifying challenges and lessons learnt and the provision of thorough analytical reports as required by their respective deliverable schedules.
- The MEL Officer will design and develop M&E Log frames during programming portfolio and outline M&E best practices.
- The MEL Officer will maintain electronic versions of M&E related data, including reports, photographs and other relevant documentation.
- The MEL write M&E monthly reports showing program milestone, achievements or lapses using appropriate indicators represented in graphs and charts.
- Ready to carry out other job functions as may be directed by the executive director.
Qualifications

- Understands Program indicators, as well as strategies, used in measuring project results and achievements.

Qualifications
HUMAN RIGHT AND GENDER OFFICER
Job Description
- Promoting respect for human rights in all aspects for sex workers
- Regularly document reports of human right violations against sex workers
- Support gender mainstreaming and identify other specific gender issues faced by sex workers
- Provide the necessary technical expertise to the mission components on gender mainstreaming strategies, including expanding analytical capacity and developing gender-sensitive policies and programs;
- Liaise, coordinate and monitor project activities with state human rights commission institutions;
- Identify and specify human rights and gender needs for advisory services and technical cooperation;
- Prepare analytical briefings, briefing notes and reports to State Ministry of Justice on gender and human rights issues specific to violations against sex workers human rights.
- Provide training and guidance to inform the development of gender-sensitive policies and operational tools.
- Contribute to the consolidation and documentation of good practices and lessons learned from the programme for peace and security of human rights, gender and sex workers’ rights and ensure their integration into policy development and review processes;
- Perform any other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

RESEARCH OFFICER
Job Description
She/he reports directly to the program officer and is responsible for:
- She/he will support the effective design, coordination and delivery of research comprising of qualitative formative studies, process research (e.g. pre-testing of outputs) and impact evaluation
- Support the procurement, commissioning, facilitating and monitoring of research and outreach inputs (e.g. focus group sessions, panel studies, case studies, listening groups, quantitative studies/surveys etc), including negotiations on technical matters;
- She/he will be primarily responsible for qualitative research activities conducted by GWIHR using innovative and suitable methodologies; undertake the conduct of all research sampling, research instrument design (e.g. discussion guide, recruiting questionnaire), data collection, data analysis and report writing when required.
- She/he will support the MEL team in analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, interpreting and communicating learnings from primary and secondary research work in order to help programs teams draw insights from the data that will be useful in the design of activities;
- Undertake the communication of findings/learnings to internal teams and external organizations as may be required.
- Conduct appraisals/performance development reviews for organizational team members
- Support in the development of team members’ capacity/skills
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

OFFICE ASSISITANT/ CLEANER
Job Description
She/he reports directly to the Finance officer and is responsible for the following:
- Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies/shortages; order and distribute office equipment and stationaries effectively
- Perform other administrative support tasks, including updating and sorting files, drafting and proofreading correspondence.
- Attend to office needs of other staff in the organization.
- Ability to carry out duties of an office cleaner.
Qualifications
i. Basic Requirements
- She/he must possess a minimum level of O level certificate (credit in English, Mathematics and any other three social sciences).
- She/he must have an intermediate knowledge of computer operations.
- Certificate in any course training will be an added advantage.
- Must be 100% community-friendly.

Work Experience
