Overview of the Organization

Greater Women Initiative for Health and Right (GWIHR) is a youth-led, community-based organization operating at the subnational level in the Southern Nigeria. GWIHR is committed to advancing gender equality, promoting health equity, safeguarding human rights, and empowering adolescents girls and young women including those engaged in sex work and who use or inject drugs. The organization is dedicated to fostering an environment where these diverse populations irrespective of their sexuality, gender identity, or expression, live a healthy, dignified life devoid of violence, exclusion, and discrimination.

ADOLESCENT AND YOUNG PEOPLE

Job Description

She/he reports directly to the program officer and is responsible for:

  1. Collect and record accurate HIV service delivery data using standardized tools.
  2. Ensure data quality by verifying completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
  3. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in handling client information.
  4. Collaborate with health workers and CBOs to support data-driven service delivery.
  5. Participate in trainings to stay updated on data tools and HIV program guidelines.
  6. Support monitoring efforts by identifying service gaps and reporting field challenges.
  7. Assist during field activities such as testing campaigns and community outreach.
Qualifications

i. Basic Requirements

Criteria Description
Education
Minimum of OND/NCE/HND/BSc preferred
Basic Digital Literacy
Ability to use smartphones/tablets and complete digital forms accurately
Community Knowledge
Must be familiar with local service delivery points and community structures
Experience in Data Collection
A year Prior experience in M&E, community data gathering, or health program monitoring
Language Proficiency
Ability to communicate in local language and write in simple English
Affiliation
Must be a recognized member of their respective constituency (PLHIV, KP, AYP)
Commitment to CLM Goals
Demonstrated passion for community advocacy, health rights, and accountability
Availability
Willingness to be deployed across multiple service delivery points within the State
